Circular economy can be seen as a paradigm shift in the way in which our society produces and consumes. Innovative standards can play a key role in unlocking the circular built environment, especially when accompanied by complementary actions taken by other types of actors in the system. Case studies will be provided for U.S., Canada, European and other international projects.
